TOWN OF MASHPEE I <br /> Minutes—Zoning Board of Appeals <br /> Wednesday,March 22,2000 <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held a meeting on Wednesday, March 22, 2000, r , <br /> at 7:30 P.M. at the Mashpee Town Hall. Board Members present were Vice Chairman r *W <br /> James E. Regan III, Board Member Robert G.Nelson,Associate Members Frederick R. 4 , <br /> Borgeson, Marshall A. Brem and Zella E.Elizenberry. Building Commissioner William r <br /> F. Hauck and Building Inspector Russell W. Wheeler were also in attendance. Chairman <br /> Edward M. Govoni and Associate Member Richard T. Guerrera were not present. A <br /> CONTINUED HEARINGS <br /> Terrance V. & Sandra A. McNeil — Request a Variance from Section 174-31 of the <br /> Zoning By-laws for permission to vary the front setback, side setback, rear setback and <br /> lot coverage requirements to allow for additions to an existing dwelling on property <br /> located in an R-3 zoning district at 30 Jackbon Road(Map 90 Block 95)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Sitting: Frederick R. Borgeson, Marshall A. Brem and Zella E. Elizenberry. <br /> IV p. ' <br /> Mr. John Slavinksy of Cape & Islands Engineering represented the applicants and <br /> referred to the new plans. At the last meeting,the Board suggested relocating the garage ��' �FA0 <br /> to the other side of the existing dwelling. Mr. Slavinsky withdrew the request fora •,, , <br /> Variance from the front and rear setback requirements. The applicants are requesting a ' <br /> Variance of 2 1/2 feet from the side setback requirements and a Variance from the lot �,�, <br /> coverage requirements. a <br /> Via, ��•' <br /> Mr. Brem stated that he had looked at the subject lot and confirmed that the abutting lots i�''3 <br /> are very small. ,. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br /> Mr. Borgeson moved to grant a Variance of 2 %2 feet from the sideline setback <br /> requirements and a Variance of 2% from the lot coverage requirements, subject to criteria <br /> 1, 3, 4 and findings 1 and that the lot pre-dates zoning. The engineer must submit two <br /> stamped plans with a revision date of 3/14/00. Ms. Elizenberry seconded. All agreed. <br /> John J. & Carole M.
