Owner of record: Edgewater Investment, Ltd. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, <br /> a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on August 25 and <br /> September 1, 2000, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> This Petition was continued from the September 13, 2000 Public Hearings to <br /> allow the Petitioner an opportunity to receive Conservation Commission, Design Review <br /> and Technical Review approval. A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the <br /> Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday,November 22, 2000, at which time the following 4, <br /> members of the Zoning Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward <br /> M. Govoni, James E. Regan III and Robert G.Nelson. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the I <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> o�s <br /> Mr. Jim Drowne and Engineer Walter Schuler represented the Petition. Mr. <br /> Schuler stated that plans call for demolition of the old, existing building and replacement <br /> with a new structure that would include boat repair, boat sales, office space, storage area <br /> and a store. The shed has been removed. Mr. Drowne clarified the proposed amount of <br /> boat spaces, work docks and parking spaces. <br /> The Board reviewed the original Special Permit that it granted to the subject i <br /> property in 1983. The original Special Permit only allows for 54 boats, 2 work docks and <br /> 1 gas dock. <br /> TN <br /> I. <br /> Mr. Drown indicated that adequate parking spaces would be provided to keep <br /> employees and boat owners from parking on the street. He said that it is not under his <br /> jurisdiction to post "No Parking" signs, but that he plans to install signs directing <br /> employees and boat owners with parking rights to park inside of the Half Tide Marina <br /> parking lot.
