Mashpee Zoning Minutes—December 13, 2000 2 ,I,,,, <br /> Board of Appeals <br /> Mr. Robert Silva of Preferred Building Systems represented the Petition and stated that <br /> plans call for construction of a two-bedroom ranch on the unpaved road. Several homes <br /> already exist on Horseshoe Bend Way. ,1AIW <br /> The Board of Health has approved the proposal. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br /> Ms. Elizenberry moved to grant a Variance. Mr.Nelson seconded. All agreed. <br /> David L. &Diane J. Cochran—Request a Variance from Section 174-31 of the UIPi <br /> Zoning By-laws for permission to vary the sideline setback requirements to allow <br /> for construction of an addition to an existing dwelling on property located in an R-5 o u�iili <br /> zoning district at 11 East Road(Map 2 Block 88)Mashpee,MA. <br /> Sitting: Robert G.Nelson, Richard T. Guerrera and Zella E. Elizenberry, illi <br /> Mr. Cochran represented the Petition and stated that the addition would be set back 8 feet <br /> from the sideline. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br /> Ms. Elizenberry moved to grant a Variance of 3.5 feet from the northerly corner of the <br /> existing building to the sideline and a Variance of 1.3 feet from the proposed addition to M <br /> the sideline, subject to: that the proposed addition would be farther away from the <br /> northerly lot line than the present rear corner and would be an improvement to the <br /> property and that removal of the cesspool and replacement with a new septic system <br /> would be an improvement to the property and the neighborhood. li <br /> Joseph P.
