Town of Mashpee <br /> MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS 16 Great Xeck (pad JYorth lit <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 �I <br /> Decision for a Special Permit <br /> RE: Michael Scolavino SP-01-35 79 Seconsett Island Road I(i <br /> Map 119 Block 102 <br /> A Petition was filed on March 7, 2001 by Michael Scolavino, Trustee of <br /> i It <br /> Seconsett Island Realty Trust of Westford,Massachusetts for a Special Permit under j <br /> Section 174-20 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to demolish an existing structure <br /> and construct a single-family home on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 79 j <br /> Seconsett Island Road(Map 119 Block 102)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, <br /> a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on March 23 and March 30, <br /> 2001, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board of <br /> I <br /> SII <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout: James E. Regan III, Frederick R. Borgeson <br /> and Marshall A. Brem. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Mr. David Sanicki of Cape &Islands Engineering represented the Petition and <br /> submitted photos of the subject property. Additions have been made to the existing <br /> cottage over the years,which the owner now wishes to demolish in order to construct a <br /> new home. Mr. Sanicki stated that a new Title V septic system was installed on the <br /> i <br /> subject property a little over a year ago. Proposed lot coverage would be under 8%. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br /> GENERAL FINDINGS <br /> 1. that the subject property is located at 79 Seconsett Island Road and consists of <br /> 28,930 square feet of land. <br />
