Locarno SP-01-56 51 Waterline Drive South III L Map 120 Block 145 A Petition was filed on April 10, 2001 by George M. Locarno, Trustee of Locarno Family Residence Trust of Boston,Massachusetts, for a Special Permit under Section �. 174-25.A.8 of the Zoning By-laws to allow for conversion of an existing dwelling to accommodate not more than two families on property located in an R-3 zoning district at l 51 Waterline Drive South(Map 120 Block 145)Mashpee,MA. Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General I Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on April 20 and ; April 27, 2001, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on ; Wednesday, May 9, 2001, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, Richard T. Guerrera and Zella E. Elizenberry. The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A Section 9 and the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. Mr. Locarno failed to attend the meeting and failed to submit plans or photos to the Zoning Board of Appeals for public record. Mr. Locarno sent a letter to the Board stating: "Our home was built to be a single family home and that is its current use. We do not want it to be considered a 2 family home" and that"we have only filed this request as the Building Department advised us to file it".
