Mashpee Zoning 2
Board of Appeals
George M. Locarno SP-01-56
g
Mr. Govoni read a letter from James Vaccaro, President of the Little Neck Bay
i
Association, in opposition to the proposal. The letter stated"This request seems contrary
to what is permitted by the Little Neck Bay Village Declaration, which all property
owners accept when they receive title to property in Little Neck Bay". Mr. Vaccaro j
asked for the Board to deny the request for a Special Permit. The Board received a fax
from Mr. George Darcy and Ms. Katherine Hickson, abutters at 57 Waterline Drive l
South, in opposition to the proposal. They expressed concern with the potential for
increased traffic, noise and diminished value of their property in the single-family
I
neighborhood.
Mr. Cramer, a neighbor, said that he was also under the impression that
homeowners in Little Neck Bay were not permitted to have more than one kitchen or an
I
I
in-law apartment.
The Petitioner failed to attend the meeting and failed to provide plans of the
proposal. In view of the foregoing, the Zoning Board of Appeals voted unanimously on
May 9, 2001 to Deny With Prejudice the Petition for a Special Permit.
i
i
sF
u SII
i
