Mashpee Zoning Minutes—May 23, 2001 5
Board of Appeals
The Board received a memo dated May 22, 2001 from the Planning Department in
opposition to the proposal. Some of the problems of the proposal include:
• that the Petitioner has not applied for a lot size variance
• that the Petitioner has not applied for a definitive subdivision plan.
• location of existing septic systems make access to Lot A impossible.
• parking issues—no variance from the 50-foot buffer has been requested.
• plans are not accurate.
The Board received notes from Walter Yarosh, a member of the Design Review I
Committee. Some of his questions/comments include: i.
• how will the site be accessed?
• where is the lot line buffer?
• proposed parking is not feasible.
• are lots being combined?
• proposal does not meet frontage requirements or lot line requirements.
The Board received a memo from the Board of Health indicating that the owner has not
supplied the Board of Health with any information. Some of the questions include:
• what type of repairs will take place?
• where will the used oil be stored?
• how will the used oil be disposed of?
i
• will the lot be paved?
• is a building proposed?
• will there be employees on-site?
• is a title V septic system proposed?
• is the lot in a Zone II?
Mr.Nelson moved to Deny Without Prejudice the above-referenced Petitions. Ms.
Elizenberry seconded. All agreed.
NIINUTES
Accept Minutes of May 9, 2001
Mr.Nelson moved to accept the Minutes of May 9, 2001. Mr. Borgeson seconded.
