Sitting: Edward M. Govoni, James E. Regan III and Richard T. Guerrera.
Mr. John Slavinsky of Cape & Islands Engineering represented the Petitions and referred
to the revised plans. Mr. Brem visited the subject property and said that the proposal
would be detrimental to the area and may cause problems with the neighbors. He said
that the houses and lots are very small and very close to each other. Mr. Borgeson said
that he also visited the subject property and that the proposal seems to be low profile.
Mr. Slavinsky said that the hardship is that the Petitioner bought the property under the
F impression that it was in the Special Permit area, exempting the lot from current zoning
By-laws. He stated that other homes in the area are closer to the street line than the
proposed construction. Mr. Slavinsky said that the lot has an unusual shape and
topography.
After some discussion, Mr. Slavinsky requested a Withdrawal Without Prejudice of the
above-referenced Petitions. The Board voted unanimously to accept the request.
