`Lown of Nashpee <br /> . 16 Great Xeck Toad JVorth <br /> ' i <br /> N <br /> "°`�`��� MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS ashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br /> r' Decision for a Special Permit <br /> RE: Jared West SP-01-85 15 Blackwatch Way j <br /> Map 16 Parcel 59 <br /> A Petition was filed on July 23, 2001 by Jared West of Mashpee, Massachusetts <br /> i <br /> for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.I.12 of the Zoning By-laws for permission <br /> to park and use a trailer for temporary occupancy incidental to the construction of a <br /> e{ single-family home on property located in an R-5 zoning district at 15 Blackwatch <br /> Way (Map 16 Parcel 59) Mashpee, MA. <br />�s Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, <br /> a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on August 3 and August 10, <br /> i 2001, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> t; A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, August 22, 2 00 1, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board <br /> a' of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, Robert G. Nelson <br /> and Zella E. Elizenberry. <br /> c The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Mr. Jared West represented his Petition and stated that he anticipates construction <br /> of his new home on the subject property to be completed within six-months. In the event <br /> that his current dwelling is sold before completion of construction of his new home, he <br /> and his family would like permission to use the mobile home as a temporary place of <br />�k <br /> residence on the subject property. Mr. West also expressed concern with the possibility <br /> of vandalism during construction of his new home on the subject property. He informed <br /> the Board that the mobile home is a recreational vehicle that will be used for camping <br /> purposes after construction of his home on the subject property. <br /> pill", <br /> Mr. John Casey, an abutter at 25 Leamington Lane, asked if the Board had <br /> granted Variances of this kind in the past. Mr. Govoni corrected Mr. Casey and said that <br /> the Petitioner was requesting a Special Permit. Mr. Govoni said that the Board had j <br /> recently granted such a Special Permit, restricting use of the trailer as a temporary place <br /> x . of residence on the subject property not to exceed two months. <br /> e4 <br /> r <br />
