Mr. King informed the <br /> Board that due to the severe slope and topographyof the <br /> lot,the coastal bank can seem to <br /> jump from one area of a lot and then reappear in another <br /> area. He stated that the plan <br /> does follow current state and town regulations for dete ' {° <br /> � g the location of the coastal <br /> bank. Mr. Ding stated that the lot slopes "greater than a • <br /> p �' 1 in 4 slope". regulations <br /> require that the tap of the coastal bank at a o' � <br /> point past the 1��--year flood line is less than 1 <br /> in 4. <br /> Mr.Nelson said that what you're saying is `that the co <br /> Y g coastal bank doesn't necessarily have <br /> to continue on and on. It can start and stop at an point depending on ' <br /> topography of the land is". <br /> Y p p g how the basic <br /> Mr. Brem reminded the Board that the Conservation Commissionr has approved the plan. <br /> Mr. Borgeson questioned the exact Variance relief being sought and suggested that the <br /> Board use the point of the deck that is situated closest to the wetlands ;to calculate the <br /> Variance relief to be granted. <br /> . King submitted a letter from Health Agent Elias McQuaid a <br /> g Q approving the construction . <br /> of a four-bedroom home on the subject property.p rty. 7. <br /> r.. <br /> Mr. Hauck confirmed that the lot is in <br /> the New Seabury Special Permit area and that <br /> there are no sideline setback requirements. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br /> Mr.Nelson moved to grant a Variance of 9 feet from the wetlands -to the nearest point of <br /> the proposed deck, subject to criteria: 1, 2, 3, 4 and findings: 1 2 3 4 and <br /> g � based on plan <br /> dated 9/15/99. Mr. Borgeson seconded.
