sy Town of Mashpee <br /> 16 Great JVeck 4koad.North <br /> BIA Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> Decision for a Special Permit <br /> RE: Craig Lynch- SP-98-3 70 Popponesset Island Road <br /> Garage Apartment Map 106 Block 28 <br /> A Petition was filed by Craig Lynch of Mashpee, Massachusetts for a Special <br /> Permit under Sections 174-17, 174-20, 174-33 and 174-25.A.8 of the Zoning By-laws to <br /> allow conversion of a dwelling to accommodate not more than two families on property <br /> located in an R-3 zoning district at 70 Popponesset Island Road (Map 106, Block 28) <br /> Mashpee, MA. (Owner of Record: Albert A, and Lillian Hollander). <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on January 23 and January 30, 1998, a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, February 11, 1998 at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. Regan III and <br /> Cheryl A. Hawver. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Attorney Jeremy Carter represented the applicant and explained that the proposed <br /> apartment over the garage is for mother-in-law use. Comments were received from <br /> abutters questioning the language of the zoning by-law. <br />
