Town ofNashpee <br /> 16 Great Aeck Ppad Xorth <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> Decision for a Variance <br /> RE: Robert M. and Shirley Bruneau -V-98-32 3 10 Main St. <br /> (Map 36 Block 55) <br /> Map 36,Block 35A <br /> A Petition was filed on March 16, 1998 by Robert M. and Shirley Bruneau of <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts for a Variance from Section 174-31 of the Zoning By-laws for <br /> permission to vary the lot size and frontage requirements on property located in an R-5 <br /> zoning district at 3 10 Main St. (Map 36, Block 35A which now includes the former lot <br /> Map 36, Block 55)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on March 20 and March 27, 1998, a copy <br /> of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, April 8, 1998 at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals <br /> were present and acting throughout: James E. Regan III, Cheryl A. Hawver and Michael <br /> A, Makunas. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and Section 174-31 <br /> of the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Attorney Robert Mills represented the applicants and informed the Board that they <br /> owned two separate lots on Main St. which had been combined in error by their engineer. <br /> One lot (Map 36, Block 35A) contained their home and the other(formerly Map 36, <br /> Block 55)was a vacant lot. He explained that there were separate deeds for the lots and <br /> that they had been taxed separately. In 19,87 the Bruneau's received a Variance for the <br /> vacant lot which was shown as Block 55 on Map 36 and the Variance has now expired. <br />
