Locarno TR. of Boston, <br /> Massachusetts for a Variance from Section 174-31 of the Zoning By-laws for permission <br /> to vary the setback requirements to allow a side setback of 9.01 feet on the north side on <br /> property located in an R-3 zoning district at 51 Waterline Drive South(Map 120, Block <br /> 145) Mashpee, MA, <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on April 3 and April 10, 1998, a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and made a part hereof <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, April 22, 1998, at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals <br /> were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, Cheryl A. Hawver and Richard <br /> T. Guerrera. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and Section 174-31 <br /> of the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Engineer Michael Grotzke represented the applicant and presented house plans for <br /> a lot on Great River. He informed the Board that the applicant had redesigned the home <br /> to meet the front setback requirements and that the plans conformed to the 50' setback <br /> requirement from wetlands but required a variance in the side setback requirements to <br /> allow a setback of 9.01 feet. He explained that the lot was substantially impacted by <br /> wetlands. <br />
