Mills - SP-98-100 131 Meetinghouse Road <br /> Map 45 Block 8A <br /> A Petition was filed on June 22, 1998 by Robert F. Mills of Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section 174-20 of the Zoning By-laws for <br /> permission to demolish an existing structure and construct a single family dwelling on <br /> property located in an R-5 zoning district at 131 Meetinghouse Road (Map 45, Block 8A) <br /> Mashpee, MA. (Owner of record: Helen L. and Laura Noyes). <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on July 3, 1998 and July 10, 1998, a copy <br /> of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, July 22, 1998 at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals <br /> were present and acting throughout: James E. Regan III, Richard T. Guerrera and <br /> Robert G. Nelson. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 6 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Attorney Mills represented his application and informed the Board that he planned <br /> to demolish an existing trailer on the site and construct a single family dwelling. He stated <br /> that the trailer was in disrepair and his planned construction would improve the property. <br /> The Building Inspector confirmed that the zoning must conform to a 30 foot front setback <br /> and 15 side and rear setbacks. Comments were received from an abutter requesting <br /> information on the project. <br />
