O'Rourke SP-98-115 34 Great River Road <br /> Map 120 Block 68 <br /> A Petition was filed on July 22, 1998 by Edmund C. and Rosemary E. O'Rourke <br /> of Mashpee,Massachusetts for a Special Permit from Section 174-2519 of the Zoning <br /> By-laws for the construction of a pier, ramp and float in Great River on property located <br /> in an R-3 zoning district at 34 Great River Road (Map 120 Block 68)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on August 7 and August 14, 1998, a copy <br /> of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, August 26, 1998, at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: James E. Regan III, James M. <br /> Dorgan and Robert G. Nelson. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> David Sanicki of Cape& Islands Engineering represented the applicants with <br /> revised plans for the construction of a pier, ramp and float in Great River. The proposal <br /> oes not comply with the 70 foot length limit and has been granted a Variance of 12 feet. <br /> he proposal has been approved by the Harbormaster, Shenfish Warden, Waterways <br /> ornmission and the Conservation Commission. No comments were received from <br /> butters. <br />
