Welch - SP 97-16 46 Spoondrift Way <br /> Map 111, Block 128 <br /> A Petition was filed on January 22, 1997 by Owen W. and Georgia M. Welch of <br /> Safety Harbor, Florida for a Special Permit under Sections 174-20 and 174-24 of the <br /> Zoning By-laws for the construction of a single family dwelling to replace a structure <br /> destroyed by fire on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 46 Spoondrift Way(Map <br /> 111, Block 128) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on January 24 and January 31, 1997, a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Carol H. Jacobson Senior Center <br /> on Wednesday, February 12, 1997, at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. Regan III and <br /> Cheryl A. Hawver. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and Sections 174-20 <br /> and 174-24 of the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Engineer Stephen Wilson represented the applicant and presented plans for the <br /> replacement of a house which had been destroyed by fire. He informed the Board that the <br /> proposed structure will meet the current zoning requirements on setbacks and lot <br /> coverage. No comments were received from abutters. <br />
