Mohns - SP-97-58 63 Frog Pond Close <br /> Map 90, Block 79A <br /> A Petition was filed on August 25, 1997 by Douglas A. Mohns of Lexington, <br /> Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.A.8 of the Zoning By-laws for <br /> an existing in-law apartment in a single family dwelling on property located in an R-3 <br /> zoning district at 63 Frog Pond Close (Map 90, Block 79A) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on September 5 and September 12, 1997, <br /> a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, September 24, 1997 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, Cheryl A. <br /> Hawver and James M. Dorgan. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and Section 174- <br /> 25.A.8 of the Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Mr. Mohns represented his application and informed the Board that a section of his <br /> home had been converted to a separate apartment in 1988 for off-season use by family <br /> members. He stated that it was not intended for use as a rental unit. No comments were <br /> received from abutters. <br />
