Anderson- SP-97-73 425 Nathan Ellis Highway <br /> Map 72 Block 56 <br /> A Petition was filed on October 24, 1997 by Andy's Market -Bryan W. Anderson <br /> of Mashpee, MA for a Special Permit under Sections 174-17, 174-51B and 174-55B of <br /> the Zoning By-laws for permission to expand a pre-existing non-conforming market with a <br /> 3,045 square foot addition to be used for storage and retail and to allow three signs over <br /> 20 square feet on property located in a C-2 zoning district at 425 Nathan Ellis Highway <br /> (Route 15 1)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on November 21 and November 28, 1997, <br /> a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, December 10, 1997 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: James E. Regan III, Cheryl A. <br /> Hawver and James M. Dorgan. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 6 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Bryan Anderson represented the application and reviewed plans to expand an <br /> existing non-conforming structure with an addition at the rear for storage and retail use. <br /> He also asked for three signs to exceed 20 square feet each and explained that the location <br /> of the signs on the building and the colors had been approved by the Design Review <br /> Committee. The approved colors were two tones of gray and burgundy. <br /> I <br />
