Mr. Nelson asked if they had investigated an easement with <br />Comm Electric since overhead wires for lights could be an issue. <br />Mr. Kirrane stated he does not anticipate any problems. Mr. <br />Govoni stated that a variance is not needed for the <br />drive-through, just a special permit, but it still has to be <br />reviewed by DPW. It will be .Greg Taylor and the State who will <br />determine the traffice flow. Mr. Wayne Duchemin, Economic <br />Development Coordinator, asked to go on record that the Economic <br />Development Committee is supportive of this project since it <br />will create jobs and enhance a pro-business atmosphere in <br />Mashpee. Randy Crocker, owner of an ice cream company, stated <br />he was in support of this project. Mr. Plummer asked what is <br />intended for the additional space on this property. Mr. Kyros <br />stated only the donut shop is planned for now and nothing for <br />the remainder as yet. Mr. Govoni asked about the time table, <br />and Mr. Kyros anticipates opening in the fall. Mr. Govoni noted <br />that final plans with the add ins and the drive narrowed will <br />need to be completed and submitted. <br />Mr. Regan moved to take the Variance and Special Permit <br />applications under advisement. Mr. Marsters seconded. All <br />agreed. <br />Steven R. and Bonnie L. Croopnick - Request a Variance from <br />Section 174-31 of the Zoning'By-laws for permission to vary <br />• <br />the setback and lot coverage requirements to allow for the <br />construction of a house addition and garage in an R-3 zoning <br />district on property located at 2 Waterline Drive North (Map <br />120, Block 173) Mashpee, MA. <br />Members sitting: E. Govoni, K. Marsters, R. Nelson <br />Michael Grotzke represented the applicant and reviewed the <br />proposed plans for the site. The abutter notification check <br />was submitted, and abutters have given verbal approval. <br />Conservation has not yet reviewed it. Mr. Govoni noted they <br />need a setback of 8 feet. <br />Mr. Marsters moved to grant the Variance with the condition <br />the setback be 8 feet, subject to the findings that the shape <br />and topography affect the subject lot and not the zoning district <br />in which it is located and that it doesn't impact negatively <br />on the neighborhood. Mr. Govoni seconded. All agreed. <br />Arthur B.
