,�y�i.TONy Qr <br /> U;obun of ;fflubpee <br /> ' 16 GREAT NECK ROAD NORTH <br /> •1711 <br /> ?� ro r MASHPEE, MA02649 <br /> ST�BLE <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> Decision for a Special Permit <br /> RE: Mashpee High School Building Committee - SP-95-19 - 500 Old Barnstable Road <br /> Map 79/1, 80/1,2,4,5,73/13,14,15,16,72/100 <br /> A Petition was filed by the Mashpee High School Building Committee on January <br /> 17, 1995 for a Special Permit under Section 174-5 LD of the Zoning By-laws to allow for <br /> signage to exceed 20 square feet on property located in an R-5 zoning district at 500 Old <br /> Barnstable Road (Map 79, Block 1; Map 80, Blocks 1,2,4,5; Map 73, Blocks 13, <br /> 14,15,16; Map 72, Block 100) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on February 3 and February 10, 1995, a copy <br /> of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, February 22, 1995 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. <br /> Regan III and Cheryl A. Hawver. <br /> Joel Seeley of Symmes Maini and Dan Solien, Landscape architect, represented the <br /> applicant. Mr. Solien reviewed the design of the sign which is proposed at 2'4" x 10' and <br /> will be placed at the entrance to the school. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and Section 174-5 LD <br /> of the Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br />
