RI . <br /> Board of Appeals Mashpee High School SP-95-19 2. <br /> A. Special Permit Criteria: <br /> Section 9 of Chapter 40A requires that the special permit granting authority find <br /> that the use is in harmony with the purpose and intent of the zoning by-laws and complies <br /> with the provisions therein. <br /> B. Findings: <br /> 1. the subject property is located at 500 Old Barnstable Road and contains <br /> 183,000 square feet. <br /> 2. there is adequate land area to accommodate the sign <br /> 3. the Board determined that relief may be granted without derogating from the <br /> intent or purpose of the Zoning By-laws and without detriment to the public <br /> good. <br /> 4. the proposed location of the sign be important for identification of the school <br /> from the road. <br /> In view of the foregoing, the Mashpee Board of Appeals found that the applicant <br /> met the criteria necessary for the granting of a Special Permit. Upon motion duly made <br /> and seconded, the Board voted unanimously to grant the Special Permit for a sign <br /> measuring 2'4"x 10' per submitted drawings. <br />
