RE: S . Joseph DiMaggio SP-94-2 <br /> A Petition was filed by S. Joseph DiMaggio of Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section 174-17 of the <br /> Zoning By-laws for permission to sell propane grills and <br /> accessories in an R- 5 zoning district on property located at <br /> 135 Main Street (Map 34 , Block 58 ) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice .was duly given 'to abutters in accordance with <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by <br /> publication in The Enterprise, a newspaper of general <br /> circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on December 24 and <br /> December 31 , 1993 , a copy of Which is attached hereto and made <br /> a part hereof . <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee. <br /> Town .Hall on Wednesday, January 12 , 1994 at 7 : 30 P .M. and <br /> continued under advisement to April 13 , 1994 at 7 : 30 P .M. at <br /> which time the following members of the Board of Appeals were <br /> present and acting throughout : Michael A.Makunas , Edward M. <br /> Govoni and Jamie Regan . <br /> V <br /> Attorney Kevin M. Kirrane represented the applicant and <br /> informad the Board that a propane business had been operated <br /> on the lot for many years and the applicant was seeking a <br /> Special Permit for this non-conforming use . He explained that <br /> the Building Inspector had requested that Special Permits be <br /> issued for the expansion of uses on the site . <br />
