Silverman - SP-94-37 <br /> A Petition was filed by Norman S . and Lois E. Silverman <br /> of Melrose, Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section <br /> 174-17 to allow an addition to the pre-existing non-conforming <br /> dwelling in an R-3 zoning district on property located at 9 <br /> Compass Circle (Map 105, Block 259 ) Mashpee, Massachusetts . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by <br /> publication in The Enterprise, a newspaper of general <br /> circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on May 6 and May 13, 1994, <br /> a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof . <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition' at the Mashpee <br /> Town Hall on Wednesday, May 25, 1994 at 7 : 30 P .M. at which <br /> time the following members of the Board of Appeals were <br /> present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni . James E. <br /> Regan III and Arnold D. Mindick. . <br /> Engineer David Sanicki represented the applicant and <br /> presented plans for an addition of a bedroom suite to the <br /> first floor . He explained that lot coverage would be <br /> increased from 14 .4% to 17 . 15 . The home had been thought to be <br /> within the New Seabury Special Permit area when it was built <br /> in 1987 and it was later determined that it was not . <br /> r <br />
