MASHPEE PLANNING BOARD 11/1/95
MASHPEE PLANNING BOARD
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 19955
A meeting of the Mashpee Planning Board was called to order in Town Hall by Vice -
Chairman Patrick Coffey on Wednesday, November 1, 1995 at 6.40 p.m.
Present: Patrick Coffey, Martine Meijering, Dennis Balzarini,
Also Present: Tom Fudala, Town Planner; Eric R Smith, Assistant Planner; Charley
Rowley, Consultant Engineer.
Release of Coverign
Applicant: Peter Michaelson
Location: Winslow Farms Subdivision
Request: Proposed road work and subsequent release of 7 lots
Mr. Michaelson purchased 9 lots in Winslow Farms Subdivision, Seven of these lots
have not been released yet. A total of 18 lots have not been released. He is asking for a
partial release on his seven unreleased lots. Will do emergency road repair this year and
then top coat in early spring. Discussed with Lawrence Lynch about estimated costs. He
will finish all asphalt work for 7 lots. Road berms are established, drainage appears to be
O.K. and signs are up.
Board discussed what would he need to post for security. A couple of options were
discussed. Could collect a road bond for release of all lots. If just emergency road work
was done this fall, Board could release one lot to him for now.
Board expressed concern about other work that may be needed in Subdivision.
Conditions of drainage and berms and whether or not bounds were in were their chief
concerns.
Board decided to continue discussion at meeting in two weeks, Consultant Engineer,
Charley Rowley will check Lynch's numbers, field check the site to what other work
would be needed.
MOTION by Dennis Balzarini, SECONDED by Martine Meijering to continue
discussion at next meeting, November 15, 1995, SO VOTED.
