M WN <br />11/1/95 <br />Di4ff—flems <br />Fields Point had submitted a plan for modification to their North Market Special Permit. <br />After review the submitted plan, the Board determined it was insufficient to qualify as a <br />submitted plan. The plan did not show location of any drainage facilities, Fields Point <br />needs to show more detail of the site, including portions west of the site not shown on the <br />existing plan. <br />Next meeting, November 15, 1995, the Planning Board will vote on Quashnet Valley <br />Country Club/Baxter & Nye revision of drainage, <br />Local Comprgh!,-,n `ve lal. <br />Approval of Revised Public Safety Objectives: <br />Planning Department presented three revised objectives from last meeting. After <br />discussion of the objectives: <br />MOTION by Martine Meijering, SECONDED by Dennis Balzarini to accept the <br />following revised objectives: <br />G. To minimize property and insurance rates which may be influenced by the <br />Town's public safety programs or other Town Activities. <br />L To ensure that the public is educated regarding fire prevention and safety, crime <br />prevention, drug and alcohol abuse, safe driving, safe boating, storm damage <br />prevention, emergency evacuation, animal -related issues and other public safety <br />issues. <br />J. To minimize the incidence of carbon monoxide poisoning through public <br />education and reliable detection systems. <br />E� <br />Approval of Economic Development Goals and Objectives: <br />MOTION by Martine Mcijering, SECONDED by Dennis Balzarini to table <br />this for two weeks to allow Planning Board members more involved in the <br />business community to be part of this process, SO VOTED. <br />am 3 <br />MOTION by Dennis Balzarini, SECONDED by Martine Meiiering to adjourn <br />the meeting at 8:00pm., SO VOTED, <br />2 <br />
