''1b e
Spyro determined that the previous Public Hearin had been »r "
closedanda vote taken on the Special Permit Modification. He
p :an A MI
stated the Board was prepared to sign said Modification as
amended and to vote on the subdivision with the new set ofy ;; .
engineering plans. 01W
Willowbend Representative reported that the new plans were ."
"still in the works. " They are trying to work out details with e,01 :®` 4
the Fire Department . The Fire Chief is in agreement with they +
alignment; he is concerned about the length of the road, as isr
the Planning Board, being about 400 ft. longer than previouslyF `,
approved. The Chief suggested paving Mashpee Neck Road, or in , h.
the alternative, providing sprinklers to the last few houses on
the road. Willowbend Development has agreed to one of those "1".9 # ''
two remedies .
Y
V
Spyro pointed out they are free to negotiate with the Fire
Department, but that the Planning Board would not necessarily be
requesting or requiring the same, ie: sprinklers in lieu of '
providing town water to the development.
The Fire Chief has agreed that the Loop-B Road as designed,
is acceptable. (At this point of the Hearing, reference was A!
being made to Willowbend Development Corp. Phase II Definitive
Subdivision Plan. ) Reference was made to the exit on Eagle
Drive. Further reference was made to a dirt road that public r
agencies use to get to wellheads; there was some question as
to whether or not the road is wide enough for emergency vehicles.
The owners have agreed to maintain the road so there would be ' `+►;,; ,iI
access to the road in an emergency situation in the interim
period before the rest of the property is developed, at which
time it would become one large subdivision.
Willowbend Representative informed the Board that the
buffer set-back issue has been re-figured. They have pulled the
cul-de-sac back so that it lines up with Mashpee Neck Road, a m° ••rla
gate will be provided. IP
Spyro indicated that the Board is comfortable extending
the cul-de-sac to go beyond the 800 ft. as it will open up wimr, rry;• "
within a certain amount of time.
