r An
Willowbend Representative introduced the issue of street
10 names. There is a possibility of changing the name "Stirling
Drive" as well as naming the loops. These requests are on file
4 ; with the Town Clerk' s office, as well as a house numbering
system, all of which will be included in the final plans .
Spyro noted that the right side of the road would be
r,: developed first because it abuts the golf course and is the
M
most marketable side, the road would need to be built all at
once.
iij)!j . ' Pat raised the issue of water and sewer. He was told
that they have pump stations, sewer plant and that water has
°.: been addressed with Mr. Rich.
Pat further inquired about the gate house design. His
concern is that the security and entry be approved and then
built as approved.
Spyro discussed the desirability of gated communities.
He made reference to the Club, which does not have a gate.
He asked if they were now putting up gates. Willowbend
Representative answered in the affirmative. Spyro explained
that he was not in favor of having gates until it became
! apparent that Willowbend Development would be continuing
the road to Sampson' s Mill.
Dennis asked if there would be a gate at the other end
as well. He was told "yes, " a break away gate.
Pat commented that some of the community comments received
9\
are that Sampson' s Mill is overburdened by Willowbend traffic,
Willowbend construction traffic in particular.
41 Spyro indicated a letter from the Fire Department expressing
their preference, to be included in the record, said letter is on
' ,M *► file with the Planning Department. Spyro also noted that George
requested that if the dirt road were paved, and held be happy.
Ili ,w,:
Willowbend Representative indicated that they plan on having
sal . that done. There is an agreement, with a closing
a;.,• '' scheduled within the next few months, at which time it would
be ruled into the site planning activities and included in
the schedule. There is a secondary vehicle access in the plan.
There are two parcels. (At this point of the Hearing reference
was being made to the Burpee subdivision. ) There has been no
survey work done, there are wetlands issues to be addressed,
there are two (2) bogs, which Willowbend would be able to
► maintain. Willowbend would like to have this area designed,
M "° with a road layout and alignment.
t „
-4-
46
