(Owner of Record: Crown Atlantic Company <br />LLC). <br />Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter <br />40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of general <br />circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on October 15, 2021 and October 22, 2021 a copy of <br />which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br />The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the provisions of <br />Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §9 and the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br />Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, <br />November 10, 2021 at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals were <br />present and acting throughout; Chairman, Jonathan Furbush, Vice Chairman, William <br />Blaisdell, Board Members, Scott Goldstein and Norman J. Gould, Associate Member <br />Sharon Sangeleer. <br />Attorney Alex Rodolakis represented the Petitioner, Jon Hagenstein, with Beacon Marine <br />who is requesting a Special Permit and is in the process of acquiring the parcel at 43 <br />Bowdoin Rd. Also present was Raul Lizard -Rivera from Cape & Islands Engineering. Mr. <br />Hagenstein is one of the owners of the business located at 37 Bowdoin Rd. The business <br />was acquired back in 2015 and consists of construction and installation of docks, floats, <br />and marine equipment. The owners are seeking to improve the efficiency of their business <br />and are seeking to use the lot for storage of the marine construction equipment. The parcel <br />is located adjacent to Bosun Marine, and Botello Hardware Store. There are no plans to <br />construct a building on the lot, and the cell towers are remaining. <br />Mr. Hagenstein said their primary construction work is mostly offsite. They currently have <br />25 employees, marine construction machinery and equipment as well as pickup trucks, <br />work boats, and boat trailers. There will be no increase in traffic flow on the road. <br />1 <br />
