Shubow V-94-69 <br /> A Petition was filed by, Lillian B . Shubow of <br /> Brookline, Massachusetts for a Variance from Section 174-32 <br /> of the Zoning By-laws to allow the construction of a house <br /> and garage on an unpaved road in an R-5 zoning district on <br /> property located at 32 Crescent Road (Map 57 , Block 54 ) <br /> Mashpee , Massachusetts . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given <br /> by publication in The Enterprise, a newspaper of general <br /> circulation in the Town of Mashpee , on September 9 and <br /> September 16 , 1994 , a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> made a part hereof . <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at 7 : 30 P .M. <br /> on Wednesday. September 28 , 1994 at the Mashpee Town Hall <br /> at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals <br /> were present and acting throughout : Edward M. Govoni , James <br /> E. Regan III and Cheryl A. Hawver . <br /> Engineer John Slavinsky represented the applicant and <br /> presented plans of the subject lot . He explained that the <br /> street is an imD_ roved gravel road and there are four <br /> dwellings using it . Letters were received from abutters in <br /> favor of the proposal and in favor of maintaining the road <br /> in its present state . <br />
