Palank SP-94-68 <br /> A Petition was filed by Edward A. and Martha M. Palank of <br /> Bedford, New Hampshire for a Special Permit under Section <br /> 174-17 of the Zoning By-laws to allow the expansion of a <br /> non-conforming dwelling with a house addition at center front <br /> and a second story deck in an R-3 zoning district on property <br /> located at 181 Daniel ' s Island Road ( Map 100 , Block 39 ) <br /> Mashpee , Massachusetts . ( Owner of record : Martha M. Palank ) . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by <br /> publication in The Enterprise , a newspaper of general <br /> circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on September 9 and <br /> September 16 , 1994 , a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> made a part hereof . - <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee <br /> Town Hall on Wednesday, September 28 , 1994 at 7 : 30 P .M. at <br /> which time the following members of the Board of Appeals were <br /> present and acting throughout : James E. Regan III , Cheryl A. <br /> Hawver and Robert G. Nelson . <br /> Engineer John Slavinsky represented the applicants and <br /> presented plans for an addition to the dining room and add a <br /> second story deck to a bedroom.
