R <br />TOWN OF MASHPEE <br />Board of Appeals <br />Minutes <br />Wednesday, March 10, 1993 <br />The Mashpee Board of Appeals held a meeting on Wednesday, <br />March lo, 1993 at 7:30 P.M. at the Mashpee Town Hall. Board <br />Members present and acting throughout were John J. Friel, <br />Chairman; Michael A. Makunas, Vice Chairman; and Cheryl A. <br />Hawver, Acting Clerk. Members Edward M. Govoni, Arnold D. <br />Mindick and Jamie Regan were absent. Building Inspector <br />William F. Hauck was in attendance. <br />Joseph and Maria Rintone - Request a Special Permit under <br />Section 174-25.1.9 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to <br />construct a pier, ramp and float on the Mashpee River on <br />property located in an R-3 zoning district at 52 Old Dock Lane <br />(Map 96, Block 110) Mashpee, MA. <br />Members sitting: J. Friel, M. Makunas, C. Hawver <br />Engineer Douglas Cameron represented the applicant and <br />• explained that the Division of Marine Fisheries was doing <br />shellfish studies in the area and asked for a continuance <br />until the results of these studies were available. <br />Mr. Makunas moved to consider the meeting not opened so that <br />it would not require the present.three members in a <br />continuance. He moved to hear it on April 28, 1993 and agreed <br />to a 60 -day extension in the calendar. Ms. Hawver seconded. <br />All agreed. Mr. Makunas asked that the record show that no <br />evidence was.heard and that any members could sit at the next <br />hearing. <br />Joyce M. Lyons - Requests a Special Permit under Section <br />174-25.F.5 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to operate a <br />fruit and vegetable stand outside of the Picnic Box Restaurant <br />in a C-1 zoning district at 518. 528 and 538 Falmouth Road <br />(Map 74, Block 16) Mashpee, MA. .(Owner of record: Fields <br />Point Ltd. Partnership). <br />Members sitting: J. Friel, M. Makunas, C. Hawver <br />Attorney Mark Gildea represented the applicant. Mr. Friel <br />noted he had passed the site this evening and did not see any <br />changes in the curb cuts. Mr. Gildea explained that the owner <br />would not allow any changes in the curb cuts and that the <br />Board did not have to follow the States recommendations. <br />0 <br />
