In <br />• MASHPEE BOARD OF APPEALS <br />Minutes <br />Wednesday, March 24, 1993 <br />The Mashpee Board of Appeals held a meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, <br />March 24, 1993 at the Mashpee Town hall. Board members present and <br />acting throughout the public hearings were John Friel, Chairman; Michael <br />Makunas, Vice Chairman. Associate Member and Acting Clerk, Cheryl <br />Hawver and Associate Member, Jamie Regan alternated acting during the <br />public hearings. Building Inspector William F. Hauck was present <br />throughout the hearings. <br />Mr. Friel called the meeting to order at 7:42 p.m. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Joyce M. Lyons - Requests a Special Permit under Section 174-251.5 of <br />the Zoning By-laws for permission to operate a fruit and vegetable stand <br />outside'of the Picnic Box Restaurant in a C -I zoning district at 518, 528 <br />and 538 Falmouth Road (Map 74, Block 16) Mashpee, MA. (Owner of Record: <br />Fields Point Ltd. Partnership), <br />Mark Giidea made the presentation on behalf of the applicant on this <br />hearing which was continued from March 10, 1993. Mr. Gildea detailed <br />plans for addressing the concerns of the Board and of the State DPW <br />regarding the rotary area, the pian of which to be placed on file with the <br />Board of Appeals. <br />said that <br />Mr. Greg Taylor.,/: the State DPW commented that the plan for signage <br />and parking addressed their concerns. Mr. Friel asked how long before the <br />parking lot would be repaired and in particular the holes in front of the <br />display area. Mr. GI Idea and Mrs. Lyons assured the Board that these <br />repairs would be completed before the stand was opened and the Building <br />Inspector will inspect prior to that. Mr. Makunas suggested to the. <br />applicant they meet with the Building Inspector regarding the proper <br />permits for signs. The possibility of a banner was mentioned and Mr. <br />Hauck stated that he would be against a banner. <br />
