C, Board of Appeals Minutes - June 9, 1993 3. <br />• Maurice P. and Phyllis D. Dufour - Request a variance from <br />Section 174-31 for permission to vary the front yard setback <br />requirements for corner lots in an R-3 zoning district on <br />property located at 42 Yardarm Drive (Map 76, Block 106) <br />Mashpee, MA. <br />Members sitting: J. Friel, M. Makunas, E. Govoni <br />Mr. Friel informed the applicant that the hearing would not <br />proceed without payment of the abutters' fee. Mrs. Dufour <br />paid the $34.00. She explained that she had purchased the <br />house in 1985 and that it had not been built according to plan <br />as the garage was located on the opposite side of the house. <br />Mr. Hauck explained that certified foundation plans were not <br />required in 1985. <br />Betty M. Crosby - Requests a Special Permit under Section <br />174-25.I.9 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to reconstruct <br />a fixed pier, ramp and two floats in Popponesset Creek in an <br />R-3 zoning district on property located at 2 Popponesset <br />Island Road (Map 105, Block 267) Mashpee, MA. (Owner of <br />record: Douglas R. Crosby TR.) <br />Betty M. Crosby - Requests a variance from Section 174-25.1.9 <br />of the Zoning By-laws for permission to vary the length <br />• requirements on piers to allow a 90' length in an R-3 zoning <br />district on property located at 2 Popponesset Island Road (Map <br />105, Block 267) Mashpee, MA. (Owner of record: Douglas R. <br />Crosby TR.) <br />Members sitting: J. Friel, M. Makunas, E. Govoni <br />Environmental Planner Mario DiGregorio and Engineer Roger <br />Michniewicz represented the applicant and informed the Board <br />that Conservation had suggested the longer length to access <br />more water depth. Mr. DiGregorio stated that the earlier <br />floats had been resting on the bottom at low tide. Comments <br />were received from an abutter in favor of the application. <br />Mr. Makunas moved to grant a 20' Variance to extend the dock <br />to 901. Mr. Govoni seconded. All agreed. <br />Mr. Makunas moved to grant the Special Permit. Mr. Govoni <br />seconded. All agreed. <br />Daniel C. and Janice G. Smith - Request a Special Permit under <br />Section 174-25.1.9 of the Zoning By-laws for an existing pier, <br />ramp and float in an R-3 zoning district on property located <br />at 26 Waterway (Map 105, Block 205) Mashpee, Ma. <br />Members sitting: J.
