Board of Appeals Minutes - September 8, 1993 4. <br />• Susan Oringer Nash - Requests a Special Permit under <br />Section 174-17 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to <br />expand a non -conforming dwelling in an R-5 oning district <br />on property located at 57 Timberlane Drive (Map 29, Block <br />33C) Mashpee, MA. (Owner of record: Alan E. and Suzanne <br />Nash). <br />Susan Orinaer Nash - Requests a Variance from Section <br />174-33 of the Zoning By-laws to allow construction within <br />So' of wetlands in an R-5 zoning district on property <br />located at 57 Timberlane Drive (Map 29, Block 33C) Mashpee, <br />MA. (Owner of record: Alan E. and Suzanne Nash). <br />Members sitting: J. Friel, M. Makunas, J. Regan <br />Builder Pat Coffey represented the applicant and explained <br />that an earlier Special Permit and Variance had expired. <br />He said the new application was for a smaller addition and <br />complied with Board of Health and Conservation regulations. <br />He explained that the lot had steep declines and presented <br />difficulties in placing the addition. He said that the <br />Town Planner was not aware of issues which had been <br />resolved with Conservation. He said there would be a <br />reduction in bedrooms and improved septic system. He said <br />the 10' easement was a drainage easement. Mr. Coffey <br />informed the Board that the house had been flooded last <br />winter causing substantial damage. <br />Mr. Friel moved to grant the Variance. Mr. Regan seconded. <br />All agreed. <br />Mr. Friel moved to grant the Special Permit. Mr. Makunas <br />seconded. All agreed. <br />Mr. Coffey said he would be coming for an amnesty license. <br />Mr. Makunas explained that if they apply for a 30 -year <br />license he does not need a Special Permit. <br />Minutes - Mr. Friel moved to accept the minutes of August <br />26, 1993. Mr. Regan seconded. All agreed. <br />Mr. Friel moved to adjourn at 9:20 P.M. Mr. Regan <br />seconded. All agreed. <br />Elinor Walsh <br />
