Meeting was re_pened at 8:20 p.m. Mr, Michael Makunas, Vice Chairman,. <br />• joined the aoard meeting. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Canal E-wp1 <br />„tta-ney Benjamin Losordo initiated the conversation on behalf of Canal Fuel <br />and their interest in putting in a gas station on Route 130 and Great Neck Rd. The <br />location is in a C-2 district and what is proposed is a small station with a single island, <br />two pumps and two exits. The owners were appearing before the Board to get an <br />idea of the Board's thoughts regarding their planned project. It was stated that the <br />Board grill have to look at the intensity of use. Mr. Friel suggested they talk with Greg <br />Taylor of the D. P.W. as traffic solutions will be vital. <br />Mr. Makunas stated that the variance would have to be considered before the <br />special permit would be considered. He also stated that he understood that this <br />intersection might possibly have traffic tights installed as a result of the Costco project <br />in Sandwich and that Canal Fuel should took at traffic solutions and curb cuts for their <br />proposedtocation. <br />• Considerable discussion on the definition of parcel and site. There is a meeting <br />on December 7th at 7 p.m. with the Cape Cod Commission on this matter. <br />t_ ..S-•. <br />Mr. Hauck stated that the Attorney General had approved the town meeting by- <br />law chances <br />Consensus -t -pinion rel: r -:ng refunding] of fees was that the Board will refund <br />SCLC <br />wnen appropriate. as long as the checks have not been deposited. <br />Lett- tram Jay Finkle of Popponessett.
