Devlin for a Special Permit SP-93-68 <br /> A Petition was filed by George J. Devlin of Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section 174-17 of the <br /> Zoning By-laws for permission to demolish an existing single <br /> family non-conforming home and construct a new single family <br /> home and garage in an R-3 zoning district on property located <br /> at 8 Shore Drive (Map 112, Block 66) Mashpee , MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by <br /> publication in The Enterprise, a newspaper of general <br /> circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on August 6 and August 13 , <br /> 1993 , a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part <br /> hereof . <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee <br /> Town :tali on Wednesday, August 25 , 1993 at 7 : 30 P .M. at which <br /> time the following members of the Board of Appeals were <br /> present and acting throughout : John J . Friel, Michael A. <br /> Makunas and Edward M. Govoni . <br /> Attorney George J . Devlin represented his application. He <br /> reviewed plans for a year-round home and garage to replace an <br /> older home . He informea the Board that he had reviewed the <br /> plans with the abutters and there were no objections . It was <br /> determined that the proposed lot coverage would be less that <br /> 20% and meets the new height restrictions . The design of the <br /> proposed home is similar to many in the immediate <br /> neighborhood. Engineer David Sanicki presented the subdivision <br /> plan of the area which had been filed in 1948 before zoning. <br />
