McCormack for a Special Permit SP-92-16 <br /> A'Petition was filed by William M. and Geraldine H. McCormack of <br /> Short Hills, New Jersey for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.I.9 <br /> of the Zoning By-laws for permission to construct a pier, ramp and <br /> float in Jehu Pond in an R-3 zoning district on property located at <br /> 77 Tide Run (Map 120, Block 190) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, <br /> on March 6 and March 13, 1992, a copy of which is attached hereto <br /> and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, March 25, 1992 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the <br /> following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughout: John J. Friel, Michael A. Makunas and Edward M. Govoni. <br /> Engineer Christopher Costa and Environmental Biologist Joseph <br /> Forns represented the applicants. Mr. Forns informed the Board <br /> that he had done an assessment of the wetlands for the Chapter 91 <br /> licensing and stated that the water quality and sediment studies <br /> I^ conformed to the Massachusetts standard criteria and showed no adverse <br /> impact on Jehu Pond. The Board determined that a Variance was necessary <br /> and the application was taken under advisement until the Variance <br /> application could be heard. <br />
