May 3 , 1990 <br /> Page 10 <br /> consisted of many smaller lots which were consolidated <br /> sometime after 1980 . <br /> In addition to the site history research , several town <br /> departments were contacted to determine whether they had any <br /> knowledge of , or records regarding spills , complaints , or <br /> other significant environmental problems associated with the <br /> subject site . These included the Town Clerks Office , Board <br /> o.f Health , Town Tax Assessors Office , and the Fire <br /> Department . None of the information obtained from local town <br /> offices indicated that environmental problems are associated <br /> with the subject property . <br /> Records obtained from the Fire Department indicate that two <br /> permits for underground storage of petroleum products are on <br /> I^ file for the subject site . These tanks , which are 500 and <br /> 1000 gallons in capacity , are constructed of galvanized steel <br /> and are approximately 11 years old. Additional files for the <br /> subject site included a recent application for a license to <br /> increase product storage . Preliminary plans for the proposed <br /> storage is for a 10 , 000 gallon double wall fiberglass tank . <br /> No permits had been issued as of the date of this report to <br /> remove the existing tanks or to install the proposed tanks . <br /> i <br /> r <br />
