She asked if there will be a recycling container next to the dumpster. She wanted
to know if a concrete curb will be installed or a Cape Cod Berm. She recommends that the
Berm be installed.
Glen Harrington, Health Agent
Glen reviewed and approved the site and septic plans. He submitted his comments in a
letter to the Engineer. The septic tank was changed to two compartments, and separated
the individual vents on the trenches, and added the subsurface drainage put into the
retention basin. Glen asked if there were floor drains in the store. Casey said there are no
floor drains in the store. Glen asked if there will be paint recycling, and mentioned that the
paint should be containerized. Casey said he will confirm if paint recycling will be done.
Scott Carline, Police Chief
His questions were addressed.
Evan Lehrer, Town Planner
He mentioned that he is very appreciative that Solli Engineering provided responses after
reviewing the plans at the Planning Board public hearing. The Planning Department comments have
been responded to, and had no further comments.
Evan asked the status of the Mashpee Physical Therapy project. Dave said he inspected
the building with the Fire Department. The business owner was issued a Certificate of
Inspection. Chief Rullo said that the business owner is using temporary barriers that are
actually better than installing individual rooms because the emergency lighting is visible to
everyone. Chief Rullo said he was told to reach out to the Building Department and the
Fire Department to work with him.
Tom Rullo, Fire Chief
Received comments from Solli Engineering regarding the vehicle access. Also, was given
the list of the hazards and quantities.
