Minutes of Meeting of <br /> Mashpee Plan Review Committee <br /> Held Tuesday, April 5, 2022 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Evan Lehrer Town Planner <br /> Evan said that the outdoor seating is an allowed use in this district as long as any outdoor <br /> seating is screened from the adjacent residential properties. The Planning Board will <br /> determine what is adequate. He drafted a Decision for the Board, and will make <br /> _.recommendations prior to the public hearing. <br /> Dave Morris Buildin Commissioner <br /> Dave mentioned that the handicapped parking is located in front of the sidewalk, and needs <br /> to be accessible for the entire building. There needs to be an accessibility plan to enter the <br /> building. Dave said he will require a controlled construction affidavit for the architectural, fire, <br /> and sprinkler system requirements signed by an engineer who oversees the plans. <br /> Tom Rullo Fire Chief <br /> Tom mentioned that there needs to be an exit discharge plan. He wanted to confirm that <br /> there are no other cooking devices. Tom said that any work within the space will require <br /> controlled construction documentation by an engineer. Tom confirmed that there is an <br /> existing alarm system in the building. <br /> Mike said that the building is sprinkled including nozzles in the farmer's porch. Mike said he <br /> is adding non-bearing partitions up to the ceiling. Mike said that the partitions will not be <br /> affecting the exit signs or the fire alarm system. <br /> Mike asked Glen if he required two bathrooms. Glen said that it is a plumbing code. It's not <br /> in the Board of Health regulations. Mike asked for an opinion if one handicapped accessible <br /> bathroom with a smaller bathroom is acceptable. <br /> Scott Carline. Police Chief <br /> Scott asked if the hours of operation will remain the same as the last location. Mike said that <br /> it depends on the staffing. They were open Tuesday through Saturday until 8:00 pm; closed <br /> Sundays and Mondays, but they might extend the hours if they can increase their staff. <br /> Glen Harrin ton Health A ent <br /> Glen said he reviewed the floor plan and noticed that there is a hand sink, but no mop sink <br /> which is required. He made some suggestions and changes.The hand sink is on the opposite <br /> side from the sub sandwich station and gloves are required. He suggested moving the sink <br /> over near the dough table, or adding a second hand sink next to the sub sandwich station to <br /> the right of the door.The"cut"verbiage on the plan is the area where the pizza will be sliced. <br /> Glen asked if the proposal is for 24 inside seats, and the ability for 13 outside seats. Title 5 <br /> allows up to 37. <br /> They would like to apply for 35 seats and the layout is subject to change. An application will <br /> be required with the Board of Health Board with a site plan that shows the outside seating.A <br /> plumber will need to connect the grease trap for the kitchen flow. The serve safe allergy <br /> awareness, and menu can be uploaded when you apply for the new application. This will be <br /> reviewed by the Board. Glen agreed that the location is good and glad this building will be <br /> used. <br /> 2 <br />
