Greg Auger spoke briefly about the research of bats surrounding Trout Pond. <br /> HEARINGS: <br /> 6:00 David M.& Ana S. Ferris, 36 Seconsett Point Road. Proposed dredging and NOI <br /> expansion/modification of pier, ramp and float. Disciullo, 25 Uncle Percy's Road. Proposed septic system upgrade. RDA <br /> Carmen Shay from Shay Environmental Services presented plans. <br /> Agent said there's not much to add. He asked if any trees needed to be removed for <br /> access. Carmen Shay said no, they will have driveway access. <br /> Assistant Agent read Board of Health comments. <br /> Mr.Colombo asked if it's a 2,000-gal tank for a 2 bedroom home, Mr.Shay said yes. It's a <br /> two-compartment tank because of the elevation. <br /> Mr.Colombo said he has reservations. He feels a Title 5 doesn't provide protection to the <br /> groundwater. Why not an I.A. system? <br /> Carmen Shay said the plan has been approved and permitted by the Board of Health and <br /> is in full compliance.This is a bigger system than required for this house. We would have a <br /> hard time fitting an I.A. system in and it would cause considerable hardship for the <br /> homeowner. Mr. Smith said an I.A. system is ideal but being able to fit that is a compelling <br />
