Signage- <br /> location only at this time. <br /> Attorney, Chris Kirrane represented the applicant for the new landscape business at 18 <br /> Mercantile Way. Also present was Dan O'Jala, Down Cape Engineering, Joao Junqueira, <br /> and Roger Brooks with Cape Wide Construction. The site plan shows that there is two <br /> entrances; on Mercantile and Commercial Streets.This building is located in the Industrial <br /> District and Light Overlay District. The parking will have 16 spaces and one handicapped <br /> space. The building is similar to most of the buildings in the area. <br /> Catherine Laurent DPW Director <br /> Ms. Laurent asked where the construction trailers will be parked, and what will be in the <br /> storage areas and the type of materials. She heard discussion from the Fire Department <br /> regarding access, and the material around the rain garden. Catherine mentioned that <br /> Commercial Street is a Town owned road and will require a curb cut permit from the DPW. <br /> Mr. O'Jala said in the northeast corner there will be a concrete pad in the dumpster area. <br /> In the southern area there will be a couple of bins for storage such as landscape shells and <br /> mulch. Some of the trucks will be parked in the gravel area. The concrete is semi-pervious <br /> and will be able to infiltrate the site, and they will maintain the natural buffer. The Design <br /> Review Committee discussed the possibility of screening to fill in the natural buffer on the <br /> east side. <br /> The site is not in Zone 2. Even though the gravel is pervious, it's pitched to grade to two <br /> area drains in case of a fire event. There are some deep hooded catch basins to capture <br /> water overflow. He referred to the landscape plans that were submitted.The entrances will <br /> have a Cape Cod berm. <br /> 1 <br />
