Nichols <br /> Attendees: Members: Donald MacDonald, Barbara Nichols, Mike Rapacz, Paul Bibo <br /> Guests Karen Stratton, Arden Russell <br /> The minutes of the March 22, 2022 meeting were accepted as written after a motion by Don MacDonald <br /> and second by Paul Bibo. <br /> Agenda topics <br /> [Agenda topic 1] Lake level/River outflow <br /> Discussion: Measurements were taken by Debi McManus on April Is' and 15"'.Thgey were 55.4 and 55.5 <br /> Ft. above sea level. There were 15 and 16 inches of water flowing over the board in the cage and 19 and <br /> 13 inches of water in the stream by the stairs. Measurements were sent to Drew McManus in <br /> Conservation. Barbara measured 2.8 inches of rain in her gauge. from mid-March to mid-April. It was <br /> noted the herring were running. <br /> Barbara received an email from Drew McManus that the spring dredging was done on March 24"', <br /> The channel was dug out to a 2 feet depth on both sides of the cage. <br /> Conclusion: Lake level is stable. Spring dredging has been completed. <br /> [Agenda topic 2] Mashpee Wakeby Lake Study <br /> Discussion: Brian Howes of UMass Dartmouth School of Marine Sciences has been chosen to lead the <br /> diagnostic study of the lakes. A kick off meeting will be held May 5"'. Barbara Nichols has been asked to <br /> represent this committee at the meeting. <br /> Conclusions: Brian Howes will lead the lake study. <br />
