This will enable the Town Accountant to remove the un-issued balances. <br /> <br />The Board of Selectmen recommends approval of Article 18 by a vote of 5-0 <br />The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 18 by a vote of 7-0 <br />Motion Made by Selectman Cotton: <br /> I move that the Town vote to approve Article 18 as printed in the Warrant, with the exception of the phrase <br />“or take any other action relating thereto.” <br />Motion passes unanimously at 7:36 PM <br /> <br />Article 19 <br />To see if the Town will vote to transfer a sum of money, not to exceed $80,000 from revenue available for <br />appropriation to fund a groundwater infiltration test to quantify the amount of treated wastewater effluent that may <br />safely and responsibly be discharged the Town’s wastewater treatment facility, or take any other action relating <br />thereto. <br />Submitted by the Sewer Commission <br />Explanation: The Town has a groundwater discharge permit that limits effluent disposal to 120,000 gallons per day, <br />an amount sufficient for the wastewater being collected and treated under Phase 1 of the Clean Water Plan but well <br />under the future needs of the town. A new hydraulic study will be used to determine the amount of highly treated <br />effluent that may be discharged at the site without having impacts on surrounding developments and adjacent water <br />resources. <br /> <br />The Board of Selectmen recommends approval of Article 19 by a vote of 5-0 <br />The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 19 by a vote of 7-0 <br /> <br />Motion Made by Selectman O’Hara: <br /> <br />I move that the Town vote to approve Article 19 as printed in the Warrant, with the exception of the phrase <br />“or take any other action relating thereto.” <br /> <br />
