MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> MAY 25,2022 <br /> There were no more comments from the Board or audience. <br /> Mr. Goldstein made a motion that the Board issue a Variance under §174-33 (Setbacks from <br /> wetlands) of the Zoning Bylaws to Owners, John S. Kelley and Carol D. Kelley to allow for <br /> construction of an in-ground pool on property located in an R-3 Zoning District, Map 96 Parcel <br /> 30, Mashpee, MA with the following conditions; <br /> 1. The Board has determined that the applicant meets all the conditions of a Variance under <br /> Mass General Law 40A Section 10. <br /> 2. A Site Plan: Prepared for: John S. & Carol D. Kelley, 174 Captains Row, Mashpee,MA. <br /> Sheet No.: 1 of 1, Date: January 24, 2022, Drawn by: MD, Checked by: MC, Prepared <br /> by: Cape&Islands Engineering,Drawing Title: Proposed Pool and Patio.4/12/22: Move <br /> Pool(Slide along deck)to 15.3' side setback,3/9/22:Added Ex.Drain Pipe and Ex. Marsters, Prime Homes requests a Special Permit <br /> under §174-51 (B) (C) of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for construction of a 55 sq. ft. sign at the <br /> front entrance of the subdivision with lettering on both sides of the fence that reads; "Country <br /> Club Estates", on property located in an R-5 Zoning District,Map 59 Parcel 39, Mashpee, MA. <br /> Mr. Ken Marsters, with Prime Homes represented himself for the Special Permit request. He <br /> gave a brief history of the newly constructed development. The sign will be situated at the <br /> entrance of a 68 lot subdivision located off Old Barnstable Road that was approved back in 1976. <br /> The sign will be situated on an island at the entrance to the new development and will be <br /> landscaped with flowers and fencing. There is 90 ft. from one side, and 190 ft. on the other side. <br /> The road will have two lanes at the entrance and two lanes exiting. He has been working with the <br /> Town to create another turn lane to make the area safer. <br /> 2 <br />
