Minutes Mashpee Waterways Com m ission <br /> Mashpee Town Hall <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> Date: 1/11/2022 <br /> Chairman Ken Bates convened the meeting at 9:02am via Zoom from the Mashpee Town Hall. i <br /> Attendees: Ken Bates, Don MacDonald, Steve Mone, Gregg Fraser and Dick Noonan. <br /> Also present: Ashley Fisher, Jeff Smith <br /> Absent: Tim Leedham, Al Wickel, <br /> Minutes: <br /> The following minutes were approved: The regular session of Tuesday November9, 2021. <br /> Motion to approve made by Don McDonald and seconded by Gregg Fraser. Minutes approved <br /> by the majority present who were in attendance at the November meeting: Ken Bates, Don <br /> McDonald and Dick Noonan. Minutes also approved by Steve Mone and Gregg Fraser who <br /> were not present at the November meeting. <br /> The following minutes were also approved: The regular session of Tuesday December 14, <br /> 2021. Motion to Approve: Don McDonald, seconded by Gregg Fraser and unanimously <br /> approved by all present: Ken Bates, Don McDonald, Steve Mone, Gregg Fraser and Dick <br /> Noonan. <br /> Appointments &Information Sessions: <br /> No Report <br /> Communications & Correspondence: <br /> No report <br /> Old Business: <br /> No report <br /> Harbormaster Report: Jeff reported that the office has continued with their repair and <br /> maintenance programs. Mooring invoices began going out last week and will finish up this week. <br /> Jeff noted that the system now has the ability to identify permit holders where issues exist such <br /> as a lack of up-to-date inspection reports or failure to pay a boat tax. <br /> Ashley reported that they are still waiting to begin work on the new facility but hope to shortly <br /> get going with the framing of at least one bay. <br /> DNR Director/Shellfish Constable Report:Ashley reports that the office is working on new <br /> Shellfish Regulations for next season. They will soon go to legal for review and then to the <br /> Select Board for approval. Ashely also mentioned that they have a couple of grant applications <br /> going forward that impact environmental concerns such as storm water runoff. <br />
