MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> JUNE 8,2022 <br /> There will be some grading in the front to help with the storm water retention area so it will not <br /> turn into a pond. The green area on the plan will be grass lined, and mowed annually during the <br /> fall about 4 inches high. Mr. Ojala said that the work area does fall under the definition of a rain <br /> garden, but there will be an erosion control with a retention basin mix of wild flowers and grass. <br /> Building Commissioner, Dave Morris, said that there will be a fire separation between each bay <br /> at least one hour possibly more.There is lighting all around the building,and he would not require <br /> any additional lighting. <br /> Mr.Furbush asked what kind of material will be stored and the hours of operation. The applicant <br /> said that there will be a minimal amount of mulch stored that is shipped in, and the hours of <br /> operation will be 7 am to 5 pm. There are minimal amounts of fertilizers stored. <br /> Mr. Gould asked if there was a storm water drainage plan. <br /> Mr. Ojala said that there will be floor drains installed with a tight tank. He submitted a storm <br /> water drainage plan. <br /> Ms. Sangeleer read the comments submitted by the Plan Review Committee dated May 3, 2022 <br /> into the record. <br /> • The industrial waste holding tank be labeled for its capacity at 1500/2500 gallon tank. <br /> • The site and septic plan to be reviewed by the Board of Health. <br /> • A curb cut is required from DPW. <br /> • There will be no sales of the products; i.e., bark mulch, shells, etc. <br /> • The base material be provided for the gravel and paved area according to specifications. <br /> • A Fire Alarm System installed. <br /> • Carbon monoxide detectors are required in the office areas. <br /> • Proper signage for 18 Mercantile Way address. <br /> • A Knox Box is required for the building. <br /> • Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for types and quantities shall be provided for the Board of <br /> Health and Fire Department. <br /> There is no sign proposed, but they will return to the Design Review Committee with the sign <br /> request. <br /> Mr. Furbush suggested that the sign be approved prior to an occupancy permit with the actual <br /> address on the sign. <br /> There were no more comments from the Board or Audience. <br /> 6 <br />
