Tony Ferragamo is stepping down. <br /> Mr. Bob Bianchi , Mr. Baker's attorney was prmsent tc request <br /> this matter be continued to the next availabic data b:.tause <br /> Mr. Ba?:ar had a death in the family and mould nct be abl�� to <br /> attend this evening but would like to be in attendance for <br /> this meeting with the Planning Board., <br /> The Board continued this meeting to August 15th at 6: 45 P .M. <br /> Ernie virgilio to discuss the Highlands and road standards . �. <br /> Mr. virgilio presented a letter to the Board outl-ining �t e h <br /> road conditions at the Highlands . <br /> He recently set up a meeting with Mr. Gill making it clear <br /> what his responsibilities were and what the town's <br /> responsibilities are. Mr. Gill' s responsibilities :.r.rtluda <br /> removal of asphalt, repaving of areas where the ,cater main <br /> was installed and adjustment of catch basins at those `{ <br /> locations . The Town will be responsible for adustI.ng <br /> structures, preparation of surface and Class 1 asphaiL and <br /> some loaming and seeding where necessary. <br /> The cost of the asphalt is $40, 000 and approxi. iatel y $14 ,000 <br /> in other related work for a total of $50,000 , <br /> The town can do the whole project for $50, 000 . He has <br /> already discussed this agreement with Mr. Gill and as soon <br /> as the Planning Board gives Mr. Virgillio the go ah:3ad the <br /> work will begin. <br /> Louise made a motion that the Board authorize the I3P' <br /> Superintendent to proceed with the agreed upon roc:? at <br /> the Highlands as soon as Mr. Gill completes+ his portion cf <br /> the work. Judy seconded the' motion. All Board ma Mbars =pare , <br /> in favor. <br /> The sacond issue was about road takings . Mr. virjili.o <br /> suggested having a working session to solve this i5:ua. <br /> Tony explained the history behind this issue. P opla had <br /> approached the Selectman' s office stating they were bai Lg <br /> handicapped by the Planning Board because they wer <br /> to bring their road up to standard.
