[Agenda topic 51 Support Letter for Clean Water <br /> Plan. <br /> Discussion: Our committee newsletter pushing for early inclusion of sewering around the lake area was <br /> read as included in the minutes at the June 13th select Board meeting, after Mike sent it to Andrew <br /> Gottlieb, Chairman. Sue Dangle mentioned that the Alliance was in the process of writing a letter <br /> supporting moving the sewer plan along in the lake area to be signed from all interested committees. <br /> Conclusions: The letter was noted at the Select Board meeting. <br /> {Agenda topic 61 Reorganization of MWLMC <br /> Discussion: Officers of MWLMC agreed to continue serving in their rolls and were unanimously <br /> secretary, approved for the 2022-2023 year. Debi McManus as chair, Paul Bibo as Vice Chair and Barbara <br /> Nichols <br /> Conclusions: MWLMC Officers remain the same. <br /> {Agenda topic 71 Cyanobacteria in Mashpee <br /> Wakeby <br /> Discussion: An advisory for Cyanobacteria was posted on the Town web site on June 261h. 'the bloom was <br /> worse on The Wakeby side but present in Mashpee as well. No swimming for people or pets through the <br /> July 4th weekend as further testing is not expected before Tuesday. The Town has a notice under news on <br /> the Town web site, which is not easily visible. The Town seems to be relying on volunteers to do the <br /> notification of property owners around the lake. Barbara thinks the Town should do a reverse 911 call to <br /> notify property owners around the lake. <br /> ... ._... ...� __. pets and people is in place <br /> Conclusions: An advisory against swimming for. .w.._......._ __w.__... _... ._.__ ...... _..m..._........ _.. <br /> {Agenda topic 8) Islands Swim Area Marked <br /> Discussion: The three islands in Wakeby have been marked to help prevent people moving in on them. <br /> Sue Dangle, a Wakeby resident felt people were moving out with Harbormaster intervention and the noise <br /> level from speakers was much improved. <br /> Conclusions: Traffic to the islands is decreased so far. <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 P.M. <br /> Res�ect submitted��.,� <br /> Barbara B.Nichols <br />
