<br />OLD BUSINESS <br />1. Ray Jack update on the Town of Mashpee Rules and Regulation of the Mashpee Sewer <br />System review by Town Departments. <br />https://www.mashpeema.gov/sites/g/files/vyhlif3426/f/uploads/sewer_draft_mashpee_rr_docum <br />ent_8_20_21_1.pdf <br /> <br />Mr. Jack stated that the Rules and Regulations went out to Town Department Heads and <br />three responses were received. <br /> <br /> Board of Health may have comments in the future. <br /> Assessors will not be making any comment. <br /> Finance will not be making any comment. <br /> Mr. Jack and the Commission reviewed the Rules and Regulations extensively. <br />2. Ray Jack update on sewer construction and financial scheduling. <br />Mr. Jack gave an in depth presentation of the sewer construction in order to give the <br />new Commission Members as well as the general public a better understanding of the <br />project process. <br /> <br /> Where we are now: <br /> <br /> There are 3 contracts. <br /> Contract 1: WRRF (Plant) located at transfer Station <br /> Contract 2: Collection System north of Rt. 28 (Falmouth Rd.) <br /> Contract 3: Collection System south of Rt. 28 (Falmouth Rd.). This collection system is 2 <br />times larger than the collection system that is north of Rt. 28. <br /> <br />Advertising and Pre-Bid Meetings are completed. <br />Filed Sub-Bids for the Plant (not the collection system) and Contract 2 bids have been <br />received. <br />th <br />Last bids are due no later than August 9. <br />Contract execution with the DEP mid to late September. <br />Construction to begin in the Fall of this year. <br />2024 project completion. <br /> <br />Mr. Jack recommends to prepare for a Watershed Permit due to proposed new DEP <br />regulations. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
